Mom's Toll House Pan Cookies

Beat well together:
1 cup softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

Beat in:
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract

Add:
2 1/4 cup unsifted flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Stir in:
12 oz chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts

Spread in greased 15x10x1" baking pan

Bake 375° - 20 minutes

For 1/2 recipe - bake in 13x9x2" pan.
Bake 12-15 minutes.
